Irish Dance at the Thatched Cottage

Itinerary

During the hour long class you will learn few basic steps and moves from Sean-nós and Irish step dancing, and a bit of the background history of traditional Irish dancing and music. We'll start with a short tour in the thatched cottage. Then we'll jump right into the dancing. We'll learn and practice the steps without the music first, we add the music afterwards. Towards the end you will have an opportunity to record all the fun of your experience to share it with your friends, loved ones, and on your social media. You will also be able to record the steps we learned during the class. In the end we can discuss any mysteries and/or questions you have related to the Irish music and dancing world. To finish off the experience I'll make a short dance performance for you.
