About this activity
Raft through notable class III rapids known as: Power House, Too Late, Vegematic, Razor Blade and After Shave, to name a few of the 12 rapids on the river. The class IV rapids are known as: Lost Guide, Double Reactionary, and Accelerator. You will be excited through the rapids and have a chance to relax and swim if you wish in some of the flat water. You will be guaranteed to be excited and make memories.
Rafting on the UPPER SECTION OF THE PIGEON RIVER is an exciting 2-hour whitewater rafting trip with continuous class III-IV rapids. This fully guided trip is perfect for groups with beginners or intermediate paddlers. Expect to be soaking wet and excited in the big rapids while our experienced guides share with you an unforgettable memory for you all. There are chances to cool off in the summer sun and float beside the boat in the calm stretches of the river. Minimum age is 8 years old or 70 lbs. Suitable for beginners and non-swimmers.

So, so glad we booked this trip with Outdoor Adventures. Check in process was quick and easy, everyone was SO friendly! Our guide Allison was fantastic. You could tell she really loves what she does and made sure everyone stayed safe and had fun (even though there were some people in the raft who did not follow instructions at all) Cannot praise this trip enough! We can't wait to get back to the area and do it all over again.
First time whitewater rafting and it was exciting. Was a rainy day, but we were going to get wet anyway. Our guides were friendly and seemed to be very knowing about the river. Wayne seemed to be very skilled in his work and provided some interesting history and facts.I would recommend this outfitter to other rafters. Had fun, you should try a trip downriver.
