We loved our tour guide, Hector! We had seen 2 tours on Viator, one with the Charlie Chaplin museum, one without. We weren't really interested in going to the museum so picked the basic tour. Our tour included people who bought the other package. We thought we'd be able to walk around a village but there was nothing near the museum so we basically had to either tour the museum or sit on the bus. The museum was really interesting and worth the price so I'm glad we did it. We also had to pay an additional amount to take the Lake Geneva boat to the Chateaux de Chillon. Also well worth it but an unexpected, added, expense. Our original description, of the package we purchased, included a tram ride, which was not included. Because of this the company paid for our entrance into the Chateaux . Overall a great trip, as long as you get the add ons.
The tour was really nice. The guide was amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. We learned so much. The driver was very nice too. They made sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable throughout the trip. The weather was great too !! I really recommend this trip.
Maggie was the tour guide of the day. She was very attentive to her tour group's needs to the point of even furnishing local Swiss snacks. I opted to visit the quaint little village of Corsier instead of going to Charlie Chaplin Studios. However, I think it would be very worthwhile to do. The Chateau de Chillon is great a must for history lovers. Montreux, however, is more or less a 30 minute last stop before heading back to Geneva. Take advantage of the time there to see the Freddy Mercury statue and grab an icecream. It is basically all the time you will have there.
We started looking for organized trips during our very brief visit to Switzerland and were pleasantly surprised to find an excellent offer on your website. Booking was very easy. We booked two trips. Yolanda was our guide during both trips. She is an an excellent guide very knowledgeable about Switzerland its history, customs, politics, wine... She answered all our questions. She is also fluent in many languages. Weather was beautiful and we enjoyed beautiful views and our scheduled program very much
