About this activity
Meet your guide at your hotel in Genoa's city center or at the railway station to begin this "off-the beaten path" tour of Genoa.

Genoa is also known as “The Vertical City” since it is built like a roman amphitheater on the hills surrounding the port and the Medieval center. You will climb ancient alleys paved with briks and flanked by old walls separating secret gardens. You will discover painted palaces, old villas and hidden corners known only by locals. To reach the top of the hills you will also use some original means of transportation such as the red funicular or the Paradise lift. When you'll reach the top you will understand the reason of this name, enjoying the breathtaking panorama of the town from the top. During the tour you will visit the unique Via Garibaldi completely flanked by amazing Reinassance palaces.
