Pink Lake Aerial Flyover from Geraldton

1h15
About this activity
Meet at Shine Aviation Services at Geraldton Airport. On arrival, check-in with reception, then your pilot will show you on a map where you will be flying then give a safety brief. Once on board each passenger will be given a headset, this will allow you to hear the on board commentary and for you to ask the pilot questions.

Once airborne, the fixed-wing plane will fly over Geraldton and its harbor, then track the north coast for approximately 25-minutes to the pretty fishing town of Port Gregory, near the mouth of the Hutt River. From there, cover the short distance to the Hutt Lagoon where the Pink Lake is. Here you will enjoy the beautiful views as the plane conducts orbits, providing you with numerous photo opportunities. You will learn how the lake gets it's vivid color from the presence of carotenoid-producing algae and more fascinating information.

The plane will then track direct back to Geraldton Airport.
