Sunset Swim in Costa Brava

We'll explore and enjoy the amazing Costa Brava shoreline by swimming an itinerary of 2 kilometers during sunset. We'll meet at Sant Pol Beach in S'agaró in the evening for a welcome briefing and some warm-up swimming exercises. Then we'll jump into the water to discover this incredible spot in Costa Brava. We'll swim in a non-competitive way for about 600 meters to a small island called Freu Petit de Can Pau. Once there, we'll swim through a small path that separates this small island from the mainland. If you have a GoPro camera, bring it with you. We'll pass through Cala de Barco, Cala Carnissers, Cala del Ferro, and then arrive at Cala Pedrosa. The complete group will then return back, either by swimming or walking along the coastal path to our starting point to make a relaxing stretching and breathing session on the beach.
The Costa Brava seabed is unique for its extraordinary biodiversity as well as the opportunities afforded to observe underwater flora and fauna. Posidonia oceanica fields and a seabed of rocks or sand are the main environments found on the Vies Braves itineraries, with starfish, salema porgy, pomfret, white seabream, crabs, octopus, and more.
Average swimming time will be 40-60 minutes.
The water temperature will be nice and warm from July to October—20-24ºC—so a wetsuit won't be required.
