Sunset Swim in Platja d'Aro (Cavall Bernat)

We'll explore and enjoy the Platja d'Aro shoreline in Costa Brava by swimming an itinerary of 2 kilometers during sunset. We'll meet at northern side of Platja d'Aro main beach in the evening for a welcome briefing and some warm-up swimming exercises. Then we'll jump into the water to discover this incredible spot in Costa Brava. We'll swim in a non-competitive way for about 1000 meters to "Cala Belladona". On the way, we'll swim through Cala Rovira, Cala Sa Cova, Cala del Pi and trough a small path that separates an small island from the mainland "Freu de Belladona". If you have a GoPro camera.
The complete group will then return back, swimming or walking trough the coastal path to our starting point to make a relaxing stretching and breathing session on the beach.
The Costa Brava seabed is unique for its extraordinary biodiversity as well as the opportunities afforded to observe underwater flora and fauna. Posidonia oceanica fields and a seabed of rocks or sand are the main environments found on the Vies Braves itineraries, with starfish, salema porgy, pomfret, white seabream, crabs, octopus, and more.
Average swimming time will be 40-60 minutes.
The water temperature will be nice and warm from July to October—20-24ºC—so a wetsuit won't be required.
