Enchanting Pucks Glen Forest Walk, Loch Lomond and Dumbarton Castle

About this activity

Collecting you from your hotel/accommodation, we shall travel to Gourock, where we take the ferry over to Dunoon. A short drive, we arrive at Puck's Glen forest walk. We then drive to Loch Lomond Shores and ending the day at Dumbarton Castle.

We meet you at your hotel/accommodation, and transport you to Gourock ferry terminal, where we take the short ferry crossing across the Clyde Estuary to Dunoon. A short drive from the Dunoon port, we enter the gateway to a magical mystical enchanted forest, Puck's Glen. Named after the sprite in Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream. This walk promises waterfalls and pure clean air as you make the ascent into the forest, where wildlife can be seen and stunning photo opportunities are aplenty. After you refreshing trek through the forest, we can move on to a recommended little tearoom/gallery en route to Loch Lomond. At Loch Lomond you can relax in the tranquility of the breathtaking views of nearby Ben Lomond and across the shores. (Loch cruise optional). We then finish the tour with a visit to the stunning Dumbarton Castle. Nestled on a volcanic plug, overlooking the River Clyde, this wonderful 15th century castle has a lot to offer its visitors. Steeped in history and stories of Kings and Queens, and not to mention the breathtaking views from the top of the volcanic plug.

We shall then return you back to your accommodation or hotel in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

This tour will leave you wishing you were staying longer in our beautiful country, with so much to see and do.
