About this activity
Beginning early morning at 8.30am, we shall collect you from your hotel or accommodation in Glasgow, and commence your private Stirling Castle, Trossachs and Loch Lomond Tour from Glasgow. This will be the start of a journey you will be talking about long after you have returned home.

Arriving at Stirling Castle around 9.30am, you can purchase your tickets at the ticket office at the castle. There are knowledgeable tour guides within and outside the castle who are passionate about sharing the history, myths and legends associated with the castle and the surrounding area of Stirling itself. Your tour will provide incredible and intriguing facts of the Stewart Monarchy, who actually resided in this outstanding Castle.

This stunning structure is positioned strategically on a volcanic crag and can be seen for miles around. As you enter the Castle and stroll the cobbled walkway through to the gatehouse, you will be in awe of this remarkable 12th century iconic building.

Moving on, you can explore the various sections of the stronghold, including the rampart, offering panoramic views of Stirlingshire and the famous Wallace Monument. Within the fortification, lies the splendid Great Hall, and the banqueting area which hosted the grand celebrations, such as the baptism of James VI among many other important timeline events.

This informative, memorable Stirling Castle Tour from Glasgow is one of the most popular sightseeing excursions for visitors from home and abroad. We are confident you will find this tour intriguing and enthralling from start to finish.

We leave this fabulous historic city behind at around 11.30am to continue our journey to the stunning picturesque Trossachs National Park. You may wish tho lunch at the hugely popular Drovers Inn or the quaint town of Callander. These of course are just suggestions, but we are flexible to fit in with your agenda. After lunch and having spent some time for photo opportunities, we travel on to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. One of the most renowned tourist beauty spots, you will be taken aback by the sheer canvas of Mother Nature's beauty. This is definitely a location for the camera enthusiast, as our shores boast the most spectacular views of Ben Lomond and the soothing still waters of the loch. At this point Graeme your kilted piper guide will play a selection of tunes by the banks, complimentary of course.

We then return you the scenic route back to your accommodation in Glasgow having had a full Scottish experience.
