Unfortunately this tour was a disappointment. I was not greeted by the tour guide at the scheduled time and waited on the street in the rain for some time before my tour guide invited me onto a dirty bus. I sat in a chair that had someone else's lunch trash from the day before. The beginning of the tour further proved to be a rocky start as his microphone did not work and he stood in front of guests talking loudly for all to hear. There was little narration, history, and other facts from the guide. The trip to Stirling Castle was amazing and the castle guide provided a wealth of information. It was engaging and very informative. The remainder of the day was spent on a bus with little interaction from the guide and no real guidance regarding where we were headed next or the time frame. After our lunch stop I waited with the other guests on the bus while our tour guide socialized off the bus. I spent the day wishing I could get off the bus and back to my ship. The tour was advertised as 6-8 hours and it was a solid 9 hours of disappointment. Do not waste your money. As a travel agent I will not recommend this to my guests!
