Stop At: Se Cathedral, Old Goa, Panjim India
The Se Cathedral is one of the oldest, most sought after buildings of Goa and is the largest church in Asia. Located on the banks of Mandovi River, it is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria, a canonized saint in the Catholic Church. This church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, perfectly depicts the opulence of the bygone Portuguese era and is graced with stunning Iberian façades, intricate mosaic work, beautifully-designed ceilings and wood carvings. Also, it has a church bell called the Golden Bell, which is the largest in the state.

Stop At: Basilica of Bom Jesus, Old Goa Road, Goa Velha 403402 India
This UNESCO World Heritage Site enshrines the relics of Saint Francis Xavier (a Navarrese-Basque Roman Catholic missionary) and is rich in architecture and history. It was India’s first Minor Basilica and is believed to be the finest example of Baroque architecture. It has simply beautiful interiors and has a marble flooring ornamented with precious stones. Made of basalt rock, it comprises of a huge altar with exquisite carvings. It also has an art gallery attached to it that includes many oil paintings of various saints.
