Spice Tour and Home-Cooked Goan Lunch at an Organic Plantation

Your Goa farming and spice experience takes place at Dudhsagar Plantation, where you'll meet at the plantation restaurant and be greeted with a glass of freshly prepared herbal tea.

After a short introduction, your 45-minute tour begins with your guide, who shows you a variety of spices and tropical fruits. Gain insight into organic agriculture, bio-gas production, and the distillation of cashew feni, which you can sample if you are of drinking age, along with the equally popular Urak. Children can try their hand at drawing water from the traditional well with a rope.

When your tour is over, a buffet of vegetarian dishes awaits. You also have the opportunity to purchase locally grown spices and other farm products to take with you, if you wish. Your visit officially ends with lunch, but you are welcome to explore the plantation's nature trail on your own, if you like.
