Fingal Head Learn-to-Surf Day Trip from the Gold Coast or Byron Bay

Your tour starts in the morning with the drive from your selected pickup location to Fingal Head (it is possible to use your own transport if you prefer). When you arrive on the beach, your day of surfing includes two 1.5-hour surfing lessons with an instructor, provided surfboard and wetsuit, and a professional photo package.

Enjoy this opportunity to surf the beautiful beaches of the southern Gold Coast, where a number of locations throughout the area provide waves for beginners and advanced surfers. You will also explore Fingal Head with lunch at the lighthouse for panoramic ocean views and a chance to spot the local pod of dolphins in the water.

In between surf sessions, enjoy water and nutritious snacks to keep your energized. All surf lessons are run by a fully accredited surf coach and are designed for all levels of surfer, from beginner to advanced. As well as teaching you the basics of surfing, your coach (who has a successful record of getting students standing up on their boards) provides insight into ocean safety, awareness, and surfing etiquette.

All equipment is top-of-the-range, and you can choose from a mixture of hard and soft boards to suit all surfing abilities; an extensive range of quality wetsuits and rash vests ensure your comfort and protection with sizes to suit all. Your surfing tour ends with return to your pickup location in the late afternoon.
