About this activity
You will be driven to Uchisar Castle and you will see the panoramic view of the beautiful fortress. Then you will continue with Goreme Open Air Museum, churches with gorgeous frescos and paintings will be shocking you by their art.
Then you will have your lunch in Avanos, situated by the river of Kizilirmak or Halys River from ancient times as Herodes called it.
After the lunch you will visit Cavusin village and visit old ruins and start seeing real fairy chimneys, soon after it is time to walk through Pasabaglar, used to be known as Valley of Monks, after that you will be able to see Devrent Valley.
After the tour traditional workshops would be visited (on demand).

Good Tour with Misleading Tour Description We bypassed our Turkey Tour operators optional Cappadocia tour to take the Small-Group Red Tour of Cappadocia offered by Viator Sept. 27, 2018 as we liked the itinerary laid out on Viators website. Overall, the tour was very informative and good. The tour leader Byram or Biram was friendly and knowledgeable. The sights we saw were excellent. Our concerns and/or complaints are two-fold. Firstly, a few late-comers were added to our tour at the last minute, the morning of the tour. It made for a 100 full vehicle, but the biggest problem was that on this English tour, this couple spoke no English. So Byram had to repeat everything in Arabic. On the vehicle, this was no problem, but everytime we were at a site and he had to repeat each explanation, this delayed the other 14 or so clients from moving on to the next exhibit or taking away from our free-time for exploring on our own at that location. The other issue we had is that we spent over an hour at a pottery/ceramics store in Avanos. Although the demonstration was informative, the products beautiful and there was no high pressure sales, this 1 hour out of 7 is not mentioned in the Viator tour description or in the tour companys Turco Travel, sub-contracted to Gorgeous Travel Red Tour brochure. Overall, a good deal for the price paid.
