The Tjolöholm Castle with surroundings have so much to offer - which makes us want to stay here for several ours. A guided tour of the castle is included, see below.
Tjolöholms Castle, which is situated about 40 km south of Göteborg, was completed in1904. It is the most known Arts & Crafts Castle in Scandinavia. This year the fasinating castle has in cooperation with The Fashion & Textile Museum and Liberty in London set up the exhibition Bohemian Luxury - Liberty Style at Tjolöholm.
The castle is beautifully situated close to the sea and a nature reserve, where there are several paths in awesome scenery. And it has it's own beach - feel free to take a lovely swim! On the beach is also a "ship to play on" for kids.
On the premises you will also find a church, a small "village" (where the workers used to live), a big play area indoors and museums. In one of the houses "Storstugan" we will have a tasty lunch. Furthermore, the shop offers beautiful gifts, souvenirs and confectionery
