Stop At: Tjoloholms Castle, Tjoloholms Slott, Fjaras 439 74 Sweden
Once this year’s harvest is collected, a feast is arranged
on the estate!
Food producers from the west of Sweden come together and sell their newly harvested and locally produced delicacies on the Tjolöholm estate. Visitors can learn more about where the food come from, taste and purchase organic and locally produced food.
There is also an Arts & Crafts Market with lot's of skilled craftsmen who show how they work and sell their handmade items.
There is much to discover for the whole family at the harvest festival. Visitors can, among other things, meet local farmers and their farm animals, go on a horse and carriage ride around the estate, walk on stilts and much more.
We will have a delicious lunch in a cosy house, built in 1904, in the village where the workers of the farm used to live.
A guided tour of the marvellous arts&crafts castle is included in the price. The castle was built in the late 19th century and was at that time astonishing modern.
If you wish to take a walk the premises is beautiful and the view over the sea is magnificent.
