Pilane Sculpturepark is nominated as one of Europe’s 10 best sculpture parks!
Around the burial grounds, a sculpture exhibition has been displaying art works by leading artists from round the globe since 2007. You will walk among grazing sheeps in a beautiful landscape and there is no manmade trails.
4500 years old traces of settlements have been found here. You can still see parts of graves and the stone circles known as “judges’ rings”. They are dated to 500 years B.C.

Stop At: Kyrkesunds Marina, Pers Böväg 7, 471 90 Kyrkesund, Sweden
From Kyrkesund we go on to a small ferry taking us a short ride to the beautiful island Härön. Next to the sea we'll find the restaurant Magasinet where we'll have our lunch. We will also have time to take a walk among old caracteristic houses and amazing views.

When returning on Tjörn we will visit charming Sundsby Manor, where we'll have "fika" and can enjoy a small museum, a couple of shops, kitchen gardens and their bakery.
The name Sundsby was mentioned in writings dated 1388! In todays main building, which was built in 1787, is a cosy old fashioned café and restaurant.
