Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Åstol Handelsbod, Hamnvägen 1, 471 44 Åstol, Sweden

Åstol is a small unique "rock-island", much loved and talked about,
situated off the southwest coast of Tjörn. The island is only 350 x 600 m!
There are no cars on the tranquil island and the houses are built closely together. The island has been inhabited since the 18th century, at which time the fishing of herring was flourishing.

There are of course plenty of opportunities to take a swim from the beautiful cliffs and tiny beach. There is a place called Klockareudden which is a natural saltwater pool between the cliffs, with a waterslide. There is a small playground for the youngest children in the park.

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Dyron, Tjorn Sweden

There are several paths on Dyrön where you'll walk in beautiful scenery and enjoy the views over the seas. From the higher viewing points on the island one can see the little island Åstol - and as far as Carlstens Fortress on Marstrand.

If you're lucky you'll see the wild Mufflon sheeps, which are said to be the ancestors of today's domestic sheeps.
Narrow streets connect the north and south harbours. You'll pass the cottages, greenery, playground and grocery store with café and a small restaurant. There are two areas for swimming with beach and cliffs - as well as a jump tower.
Dyrön is an island with lush greenery and walking trails of several lenghts. It it approx. 4,5 km around the island, without any pauses it takes approx. 75 min to walk in quite quick pace. However you can easily shorten the trail in many ways and there are information signs as you go along.
As was many other places in Bohuslän, Dyrön was inhabited already in the stone age over 3000 years ago. And on the western part of the island traces of a stone age village has been found.

Duration: 3 hours
