The most famous spot on Marstrand is probable Carlstens Fortress. The building of the fortress started in the 18th century and was done by prisoners. But Marstrand has so much more to offer like unique beautiful houses along the pebbled streets, breathtaking views from the walks around the island. The atmosphere this time of the year is peaceful and calm - but the very much liked café "Bergs Konditori" has opened up - which is a sign of spring!
