Stop At: Carlstens Fastning, Marstrand Sweden
Carlstens Fortress is majestically situated on top of small and very popular island Marstrand. The fortress that is intact, with dungeons for instance, was built in the 17th and 18th century and has been a big part in Swedish history. A guided tour is inclued that you might want to join.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Drottninggatan, Marstrand Sweden
Marstrand is a small island but very popular, especially in summertime, and has lot's to offer. The village is very picturesque with beautiful houses and cobbled streets and the harbour is full of sailing boats and admirers. There are several nice shops and arts&crafts. On the other side of the island, the west coast, is more calm, fantastic barren cliffs, some people probably sunbathing or swimming and walks with breathtaking views over the sea.
There's time for walking, swiming, shopping, playing, café- or barvisits - whatever you prefer!
