A local guide will show you the breathtaking panoramic views of Playa del Inglés, you will discover the spectacular golden sand dunes of Maspalomas (a nature reserve since 1987) and the incredible Oasis of Maspalomas known as "Charca": a small lagoon used as a destination for wintering or resting in the migrations of almost 40 species of birds.
Halfway down the road you can see up close the imposing old Lighthouse of Maspalomas, which has been in operation since 1980 and has been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest by the Government of the Canary Islands in 2005, and the famous statue of Christopher Columbus built in 2002 to commemorate the passage of Columbus through Maspalomas on May 24, 1502.
On the way back, the path will take you along the fun bike lanes of the Campo Internacional immersed in a beautiful green park "Parque de la Paz" considered as an open-air museum of values because it is dotted with 14 monoliths that refer to human values with phrases from the most important thinkers, intellectuals and leaders in the history of humanity and where a statue of Mahatma Gandhi stands out in the central part.
