About this activity
Relax with a yoga class on a SUP board in the middle of the ocean. A wonderful new activity that comes to Lanzarote and can be practiced floating on a beach of calm waters or in the warm sand. With this new sport modality in addition to the well-known benefits of yoga, you will increase the physical strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance needed to maintain balance on the board, thus providing an enormous sense of tranquility and harmony.
To practice this new style of yoga you need to know how to swim, since you will learn the basic notions of Paddle Surf to be able to stay on the board, and go ahead! It may be difficult at first, but with patience and practice you will be able to enjoy this new way of doing yoga floating on the sea, at one of the best beaches of Lanzarote. The instructor is certified in the teaching of Yoga-Purna issued by the Garbha-Yoga School of Rome, Italy.
The session usually begins in the sand, at the seashore, with a series of stretches and Sun salutations to warm the body up and then continues in the water, each participant on their board, moving from one position to another, as if you were part of the ocean. The schedules of this activity may change depending on the sea and wind conditions. The approximate duration of the activity is 1 hour.
