About this activity
We will start this tour by picking you up at your place and drive a short ride to Masaya volcano which is the most active and impressive volcano in Nicaragua, all this can be witness from people from all ages because the trip take you all the way to the crater of the volcano by car no Hiking needed, after witness this impressive view and volcanic activity we drive back to the city of Masaya where we will enjoy of the Masaya art craft Market full of colours and beautiful souvenirs, after Masaya city we will visit to a couple of towns that we call them the white towns, Catarina and San Juan the Oriente, Catarina is very well known for the amazing view and the nursery housing tons of different colors and smell of the flowers and plants and San Juan de Oriente with their pottery heritage make a perfect spot to get into one of this workshops and see how indigenous people have being doing this art for hundreds of years.

After Masaya we drive back to the city of Granada where we will have a relaxing walking tour through the city, visiting different and beautiful colonial sites as the convent and Church San Francisco the oldest building in town and now a museum that holds excellent statuary from Zapatera and Ometepe Island statuary which comes from 800 to 1200 years ago, La Casa de los tres mundos beautiful colonial building that provide art classes to the locals, la Merced church maybe one of the most elegant churches in town which has a tower from which we can witness the majestic of the city, the Cathedral the biggest building in town, La Polvora fortress witness of war and revolution, a local cigar shop….and much more.

After a relaxing walking tour we will head to Lake Nicaragua to enjoy the beautiful archipelago of Asese and the Isletas of Granada while watching some of the colorful birds from the area. (Osprey, Tiger Heron, Limpkin, Flycatchers, Kingfishers, Egrets, etc), Besides Birds lake Nicaragua is home of different fish as fresh water bass, red devil bass, tilapias and also fish from the ocean as Bull shark, Gar alligator, Tarpons and sawfish. Lake Nicaragua is the second biggest lake in Latin-American after Titicaca, Rediscover the path between the two oceans by boat and delight your eyes with this piece of heaven on earth more when the sun goes down in the distance.
