The Sierra Nevada Nature Area, comprising its National Park and Nature Park, is an impressive, compact mountain range which boasts the highest peak on the Iberian Peninsula: Mulhacén (3,482 metres). It forms part of the Penibetic range, which stretches from the south-eastern part of Granada province to the western borders of Almería. Due to the great variety of its landscapes and the uniqueness of its natural features, Sierra Nevada is included in several different categories of protection. Apart from being a Nature Park and National Park, it is also an internationally recognised Biosphere Reserve.

Our guide Ernest was the best - really a special tour threw Sierra Nevada ; and the restaurant-visit at the end was perfect, too. like that and would do it again...

I just had this tour last week and promised Miguel to give a review. So here it goes... This was by far the best tour I had in my Andalusia trip last week. I was travelling solo and met a few travellers doing this on the day as well. It was definitely worth it. Absolute sceneries, loads of fruit picking, and a very informative tour. You will learn a lot about Sierra Nevada and its history. All praise goes to Miguel who was superbly great all through out. This is highly recommended so if I were you, I would go for it.

Great tour. Best tour for the money. Great Tour Guide. Beautiful views of the mountains. The guide taught us about the wild herbs growing on trails. I highly would recommend it to everyone looking for an unique tour.

My friend and I truly loved the safari. We got to stop by en route and did a bit of a hike, our guide allowed us to do this. outstanding views and rock formations on the way. Enjoyed the drive on those narrow roadways up and down the valley. Due to logistical issues, we were unable to make it on time at out pick up point on the day of booking. Thank you to Jaime and team for allowing us to do the tour the following day, without forfeiting our payment. We will definitely dp
