The guide was fantastic, the day was great and the Alhambra was extremely interesting. We would do it again!
Excellent tour guide. We were told the history of the Alambra very well by our guide .Forgot his name but was very knowledgeable
Our time there was exceptional. Our guide, Hamdi, was not only extremely knowledgeable, he was charming. He took great care to thoroughly explain the entire history and all the reasons a for each of the elements of each castle.
We had Igone as our guide. She was a wealth of knowledge. She was very respectful of the site and we could tell she loved its rich history and culture which makes the tour more enjoyable. We asked many questions off script and she easily answered them. Then she kindly helped us with restaurant and flemenco suggestions. I would definitely recommend this tour and Igone to another.
We visited the Alhambra as a group of six and saw some amazing things! Communication between us and the tour company was excellent and meeting our friendly, informative tour guide Juan Antonio (Nono) was easy and straightforward. I would highly recommend this tour and guide.
We bought a private tour as all other tickets were unavailable. Never was money better spent! Our young Spanish guide was full of enthusiasm and knowledge. He provided a historical background, full explanations of the cratfsmanship and buildings but more importantly for me he told us about the Nazrid culture recreating a picture of how they were living and ruling in their time. There was less to know after they left as the Alhambra was never lived in again. The tour did not allow enough time to see all the areas of the palace and gardens and we are determined to make a return visit .We had been uncertain as to whether we could take a rucksack with water and biscuits into the palaces but on arrival discovered that this was permissible. Had we done this we could have revived ourselves at the end of our tour and then spent more time in the General-Life before leaving for refreshments. Although self guided tours may well fulfil the same need, our guide brought the Alhambra to life and made it so much more than just a building. Our guide managed to steer us round avoiding the crowds and focus our attention on the most intricate, interesting and important parts of the palaces and we felt we were extremely lucky to have found him - thank you very very much Antonio - it was amazing!.
This tour was without a doubt the highlight of our two week vacation in Spain. Our guide, Blanca, went way beyond our wildest expectations with not only her vast knowledge of the Alhambra but also with her congeniality, patience and eagerness to answer all our questions. We appreciated the leisurely pace we were afforded with a private guide versus the herding of large tour groups that we witnessed. This is one location where a private guide is essential. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Thank you Blanca for a wonderful tour.
Antonio Nono with NHUE was the perfect tour guide for our Alhambra and Granada visit. Very knowledgeable and entertaining - he kept the interest of 3 teenagers, who still say it was the highlight of our travels. This private guided tour was worth every penny. Thank you!
This was a wonderful way to see the Alhambra! There were 4 people in our group which worked well for making our way through the busy areas. Meeting up was smooth and we had a break part way through our tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out things we would have missed in a large group tour or walking through on our own. Highly recommend this company.
We highly recommend this tour and highly, Highly, HIGHLY recommend Marta. She was very knowledgeable and a pure pleasure to spend three hours with. Her enthusiasm for the Alhambra and its history is contagious. If you are looking for a guided tour, or even if you're not, to maximize your Alhambra experience, we encourage you to book a tour with Marta if you can specify your guide!.
