We booked the Granada day trip from Seville via Viator. The tour was run by Grupo Edutravel who emailed us the day before and followed up with a call to advise us pick up time from our hotel. David Martin picked us up on time for the 2 1/2 journey to Granada. The journey didnt seem too long as David was a wealth of information and kept us informed along the way and the transport was comfortable. We did a walk around town and then up to the Mirador which is a must if you want some breath taking views of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada. Although the walk was steep in places along cobbled streets, it was worthwhile. Following a bite to eat and a cold beer, we proceeded to the Alhambra where we walked round the very well laid out Generalife Gardens before touring round the palace. The whole process was made so much easier as David had given us details and clear instructions on what to do after entry. Granada is a nice place to visit but maybe an overnight would have been a better option as I heard that the town comes alive in the evening. However our trip was enjoyable and Granada is definitely worth a visit.
