Visit the Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family famed for its exquisite craftsmanship including wood, stone, and brick carving, and metalwork using copper and iron. Admire the most characteristic Guangdong architecture and learn its history. Move on to explore the European style buildings on Shamian Island, which used to be the concession area in the 19th century, walk around to enjoy the quiet and beautiful environment.
Later have lunch in a nice local restaurant, and continue sightseeing Yuexiu Park, which is the largest park in the city, and famous for its beautiful scenery and its large number of historical relics such as the Five-Ram Sculpture, Zhenhai Tower.
