The building witness to the development of Chinese customs from the Qing dynasty to the founding of the nation, and has important historical research value.August 1993 Guangzhou People's government published as a Cultural Relics protection Unit, May 25, 2006 by the State Council approved the inclusion of the sixth batch of national key cultural Relics Protection Units list.
