Your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby in Guangzhou city centre and bring you to the first stop of the visit, the Guangzhou TV and sightseeing tower.
This building, also known as Canton Tower, is the symbol of the city, and it is one of the highest structures in the world. From the sightseeing platform you can enjoy incredible views that you won’t be able to get elsewhere of Guangzhou and surrounding areas.

Stop At: Chen Clan Ancestral Hall-Folk Craft Museum, No.34 Enlong Li, Zhongshan 7th Road, Guangzhou 510150 China
After the TV tower, we will take you to visit Chen Clan’s Academy, also known as the Guangdong Provincial Museum of Folk Art. The academy was established in 1894 in Qing Dynasty, as a place for students to prepare for their imperial examinations, examinations students were required to take in order to join the civil service in the Qing Dynasty. The Chen Clan Academy consists of 19 buildings in total, with nine halls and six courtyards. The complex forms around a north-south axis, which is very common throughout China.
The architectural styles are great examples of traditional Chinese architecture and you will also have the chance to see beautiful southern art pieces such as wood carvings and pottery, that also help give a better idea about how people lived.
After this visit you will enjoy a traditional Southern Chinese cuisine dinner followed by a visit to the Wanling Market to do some shopping. Do not forget to bargain!

Stop At: Pearl River (Zhujiang), Guangzhou China
In the evening, we will take you for a Pearl River cruise, when you’ll be able to revel at Guangzhou’s modernity as the sparkling lights on both riverbanks pass by, and the moon reflects on its waters creating a magical atmosphere. Night cruises start from the White Goose Pool and end at either the Guangzhou Bridge in the east or the Baihedong (White Crane Cave) in the south.
During the one-hour cruise visitors will be able to experience the beauty of the Pearl River and sights such as the White Goose Pool, Zhuhai Square, Aiqun Mansion, the Guangzhou Hotel and the European architecture of Shamian Island buildings. The ship also passes under ten famous bridges including Renmin Bridge, Haizhu Bridge, Guangzhou Bridge, and Jiefang Bridge.
After that, we will bring you back to your downtown hotel.
