The Guangzhou City God Temple. It was founded in the Ming Dynasty Hongwu three years (1370). It is the largest and most majestic City God Temple during the Ming and Qing dynasties in Lingnan area. Cheng Huang, as one of the most important gods in the ancient Chinese national religious culture, is mostly played by famous heroes who are meritorious to the local people, and is the god of Chinese folk and Taoism who believe in guarding the city.

Located in Ren Wai Street, Longjin West Road, Guangzhou, the temple is a temple dedicated to the true Wu Di of Taoism, covering an area of 2200 square meters. It was the oldest and largest temple in 18 townships. According to the history, the Tan Wai Temple was built in 1052 and had been restored in 1736 and 1862. Yan Wai temple is a typical Ming and Qing architectural style, pay attention to grandeur, and is the crystallization of the convergence of various carving art cases in China. Its main building is slightly trapezoidal, covers an floor of 2200 square meters, sits north. The wood carving in the temple is very delicate, the head door is made of wood carving craft components, carving auspicious decorations, all over the gold color.
