It is the only one museum in Guangdong province which was included in the national "Eleven-Five" period of the key protection of the major site project.The site was published by the State Council in 1996 as the fourth batch of national key cultural relics Protection Units. At December 2006, it was included in China's reserve list of world Cultural heritage.

And your journey goes to Guangzhou City God Temple. It was founded in the Ming Dynasty Hongwu three years (1370). It is the largest and most majestic City God Temple during the Ming and Qing dynasties in Lingnan area. Cheng Huang, as one of the most important gods in the ancient Chinese national religious culture, is mostly played by famous heroes who are meritorious to the local people, and is the god of Chinese folk and Taoism who believe in guarding the city.

Finally, you will come to visit the Wanmu cottage,which is a building with strong Lingnan style. Kang Youwei, the leader of the Reform Movement of 1898, once set up a school here to publicize the idea of reform, which played a great role in promoting the spread of progressive ideas.
