Stop At: Huangpu Ancient Village Museum, No.6 Bukangli, Huangpu Village, Haizhu District, Guangzhou China

Ancient Huangpu Port and Village, located near the modern-day port on the eastern end of Pazhou Island. Once the Chinese end of the maritime Silk road, the port was also heavily involved in the opium trade. Check out the small history museum for background on the area, and visit Pak Tai Temple, if you wish. Most of your time spent here will be walking around the maze of streets and alleys that make up the village.

There are ancient pavements built during different dynasties under the modern road to prove the long history around this area. It is always the traditional axis of the city and also the center of Guangzhou. It is wonderful place for shopping as well.

Guangdong's edge-beating stove also has strong regional characteristics. Everyone in Guangdong pays attention to health preservation. Cantonese hot pot taste more mild, and the fresh fragrance of food materials can be more prominent in porridge-based hot pot.
