This 7 hours day trip tour with hotel pick up and drop off in Guangzhou will allow you to explore Lotus Mountain scenery at the south outskirt of Guangzhou, which is a famous ancient quarry site with precious historical heritages including Qing Dynasty fortress, Lotus Pagoda, big buddha(Guanyin) statue and temple. Located at the mouth of Pearl River and face to the ocean, used to be armed with artillery cannon for defense, it was the frontier for Opium War in the mid 19th century.
Here are what you could do(all available and optional):
1) Take the shuttle car to go up the mountain and enjoy the view of bare rocks from ancient quarry;
2) Immerse in the beautiful forest with various subtropical plants, observe grand blossom of delicate lotus flowers(available in summer);
3) Climb up to the Lotus pagoda to enjoy the breeze and overlook view of the mountain and ocean;
