About this activity
Pick you up from your hotel about 6pm, and transfer you to board the luxury ferry and start the cruise ride. Enjoy the dazzling night view of Pearl river.
The Pearl River is 2124 kilometers long and it is the longest river in Guangdong province, it is also the third longest river in China. In its course running across Guangzhou, there is a huge stone island standing in the way of the flowing water. The island has been washed by the river water for thousands of years and is polished and nowadays looks like a big shiny pearl. That is why it is called as the “pearl stone in the sea”. Therefore, the river is also named as the "Pearl river".
Among the cruise ride, you can see Xinghai Concert Hall, Haixinsha Island, pass by Haiyin bridge, Guangzhou bridge and Liede bridge.
After the cruise ride, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guangzhou.

The boat itself was fine, and the trip to see the buildings and bridges lit up at night was very good. Do not go on this trip if you want a quiet meal with your partner, or a romantic dinner!! It certainly wasn't that!! When they said the food was ready, it was like watching a stampede of starving people clearing all the food like a plague of locusts!!! We could not believe it, people pushing and shoving and being generally ill mannered. Not good, there appeared to be nobody in charge to control matters. The organisers need to also review the time and route taken by the boat, it was all over far too quickly.
What a great cruise. We were picked up on time, short trip to the boat. The hostesses took care off all the hassles if there any. Spoke english. After the buffet meal which was alright we did not have drinks, the boat when up and down the river to see the spectacular lights of Guangzhou. Have to admit the Canton Tower was all we wanted to see, but all the skyscrapers were little up including the bridges. This cruise would have to go on any tourist to Guangzhou must see. Also the Canton Tower and the hop on/hop off buses that go on 3 different routes.
