It is a short trip basically only having 4 days of tours 2 days travel however well worth the money. It hits all the must see. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, was not annoyed with lots of questions and top priority was our safety and satisfaction. Chosen hotels, restaurants and shops were top rated. No worry about food poisoning if you follow Viator's recommendations. Only 3 recommendations to make it from a 9 rating to a 10 rating: The location of the hotel in Guatemala city was not in the best zone in the district but definitely high class including 24/7 room service! You just need to stay at the hotel which has a lot of accommodations and security. Just don't venture out. Even at the gas stations there were police officers with assault machine guns. Second recommendation is when we left our hotel to go back home from Antigua to Guatemala City airport approx. 1 hour drive there were only 2 choices of times to leave in the group shuttle in which was 9:00 am or 12:30 pm. Our plane left at 2:14pm however they did accommodate this inconvenience in which we ask to be dropped off at the Archeological museum in Guatemala City instead of the airport taking the 9:00 am shuttle. Then we just had to call a taxi in which it was only a ten minute drive to the airport and cheap cost. Third recommendation is our itinerary days were not exact in order and there were no times on when we need to be ready. We saw everything on the list but not in order in which was confusing. I would highly recommend this short trip because it does cover all the must see.
