About this activity
The journey from the city of Guayaquil to Salinas is approximately 2 hours. We will appreciate the landscapes of the Ecuadorian coast and cocoa and banana crops.
We start our tour visiting the Marino Costera Puntilla Santa Elena Wildlife Reserve, where we can visit some attractions such as: La Chocolatera and the Mirador del Cerro that are within the protected area.
Our first stop is at the Mirador del Cerro, where we have an interpretation of our guide to natural resources that can be admired from the lace of Santa Elena considered the highest point of the peninsula.
Then we descend to the Chocolatera (moderate hike) where we can feel the cool breeze as it combines with water droplets arising from the crash of the waves with the rocky cliffs.
Then we reach another path that leads to the lighthouse, the second most westerly of South America geographical accident, here we have an amazing view very close to the sea.
After our lunch we’ll visit the Malecón Chipipe, where we will have the afternoon free to enjoy the beach and the sea or an optional activity.
We will be returning to the city of Guayaquil at 7:00 pm.
