2-Day Private Tour: Guilin City Highlights and Li River Cruise

Day 1: Guilin City Tour [L]

Your local guide will pick you up from your centrally located hotel in downtown Guilin by 9am to start your day of exploring the city. Start by visiting Elephant Trunk Hill, a symbol of Guilin City, before visiting Reed Flute Cave from which you will see extraordinary scenery. Later that afternoon, climb to the top of Fobo Hill where you will see a panoramic view of Guilin City and Li River. In addition, you will see stone carved statues at Fobo Hill telling the story of the Tang Dynasty's history. Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely walk and interact with the locals at Seven Star Park, the largest park in Guilin City. A Chinese style lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. Your tour will end by 5pm and you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin.

Day 2: Guilin - Li River Cruise - Yangshuo - Guilin [L]

Your local guide will pick you up from your centrally located hotel in downtown Guilin by 8:30am and transfer you to Li River Cruise Terminal at the Zhujiang Pier, approximately 30-40 minutes away. The cruise will depart at 9:30am from Guilin to Yangshuo. Li River, the mother river of Guilin, is one of the most popular excursions for visitors. The essence of Li River is from Yangdi to Xingping along which you will see an amazing view of the Painted Hill of Nine Horses, wondering water buffaloes, local fishermen and more. Chinese lunch box will be provided on board. The cruise will end at Yangshuo Pier by 2pm. After you disembark you can enjoy a short walk through West Street, the busiest street in this charming small town of Yangshuo, with many shops, restaurants, bars and more. Afterwards, you will be returned to your hotel in Guilin. If you have arranged for a hotel in Yangshuo you can request to be dropped off there.
