Guilin-Yangshuo one day tour of climbing up mountain& bicycle around countryside

In the morning hotel pickup from Guilin or Yangshuo at 9:00am.

Drive to

Yao mountain, where is located in the eastern suburbs of Guilin and is only 10 kilometers from the city. The peak rises to a maximum height of 909 meters above sea-level, making it the highest among Guilin's many mountains. We will visit a

tea garden at the foot of Yao Mountain, it had once been a royal tea garden in Ming dynasty (1368- 1644) and now is Tea Science Research Institute owned by goverment. At here you can experience tea picking and tasting, learn rich knowledge of differnt kinds of tea

Then we drive to

Daxu Old Town. This charming ancient town we can see today has a history tracing back to more than 1,000 years ago.(Northern Song Dynasty ).In the Ming dynasty(1368—1644), Daxu was known as one of the four major harbors bordering the Li River, hence its high number of traders and the importance of its market was famous all over southern China. Testimonies of this glorious age of Daxu Village are the 13 docks lying along the old street becoming now a curiosity to visitors. In this old town Longevity Bridge is a must-see building.

After that we drive to high mountain and look down the

Xitang Reservior which is surrounded by many limestone mountains.

Then , drive to

Xingping old town in Yangshuo county. Xingping scenery is a highlight part of the whole Li river , euphonious poems about Xingping never tide down from ancient time. At here we will climb up a high mountain called

Laozai. On the top of this mountain you can see the best view of Li river,the bamboo rafts look like ants and big boats look like beetle, creeping on the silk ribbon-like Li river.

Then we drive to

West Street, West street just locates in the epicenter of Yangshuo town with the length of 517metrs and width of 8metrs. The whole street shapes like a big “S” and paved by limestone stones。Both sides of this street are full of restaurants and stores, visitors can buy various souvenirs here or taste different snacks. Some buildings at here still keep the building style inherited from Qing and Ming dynasty with dark green tiles, slope roof, white wall, hanging balcony and stone road. But some buildings of Bar or Coffee were bestowed European construction style, the night of west street full of exotic feelings. West street is also called “ foreigners street” and “ Biggest English corner in china” and “Earth Village”

Then we do

a wonderful bike tour in Yangshuo

Here have many old poetic stone bridge with clean water flows beneath them. Big rice fields are surrounded by music rhythm-like skyline of limestone mountains,and presents bikers' ideal picture of idyllic countryside.

In the evening, drive back to Guilin city. walk around Fir lake and Banyan lake
