About this activity
The Day Before Your Day Trip
You’ll receive a telephone call from your tour guide before 9:30pm to let you know the exact collection time for your trip the next day.
8:30am–10:00am: Hotel Collection and Drive to Xianggong Hill
Your guide will be waiting for you in your hotel’s lobby or other appointed location at the agreed time, which is usually 8:00 am . You’ll join a group with no more than six members, which is a great size to ensure you enjoy a better travel experience.
10:00am–10:50am: Have a Bird’s-Eye View of the Hills and the Li River from the Peak of Xianggong Hill
After collecting all the members, your will head to the first destination — Xianggong Hill. Hiking along the steps for about 15 minutes at Xianggong Hill, you will climb up to the peak of the hill where you’ll be taken aback by the amazing view of the beautiful karst landscape set as countless hills around the Li River.
10:50am–12:40pm：Enjoy a Bicycle Ride in Yangshuo’s Countryside
After traveling for about 1 hour, you’ll arrive at the rural paths near the Yulong River. Take a bicycle or an e-bike scooter ride along the beautiful countryside paths next to the Yulong River where the water flows silently, the birds are singing, and flowers are blooming.
12:40pm–13:30pm: Have Lunch at a Local Family-style Restaurant Named Secrect Garden
After visiting the countryside we’ll have our lunch at a local family-style restaurant named Secret Garden where you’ll have the chance to taste both the famous local’s favorite daily food and western food.
13:30pm–15:20pm: Discover the Traditional Chinese Handicraft of Painted Fans
After lunch, you'll visit another ancient town named Fuli. This village is famous for its traditional Chinese handicraft — Chinese painted fans.
15:50pm–17:30pm Take a Raft Ride on the Most Popular Part of the Li River
After making painted fans you will enjoy a private raft trip drift along the most popular part of the Li River for about 1 hour, from Xingping to Nine-Horse Painted Hill and then back to Xingping.
17:30pm–19:00pm: Transfer Back to Your Hotel in Guilin or Yangshuo
Finally your trip comes to an end. You will be transfered back to your hotel in Guilin or Yangshuo.

- The tickets for the Impression Liu Sanjie night show and the coach fee of 30 Yuan for the public transportation from Yangshuo to Guilin if you stay in Guilin and decide to watch this show.

- Gratuities to your tour guide & driver (usually CNY 50 - 100 per person). It is not compulsory but would be a great encouragement for them.

- The hotel collection and drop-off areas will be within the urban areas of Guilin and Yangshuo. In Guilin city, the hotel collection and drop-off area should be within the following area: the north side is Beijiguangchang/北极广场, the west side is West Hill Park/西山公园, the east side is Sanlidian Square/三里店广场 and the south side is Wonderful Plaza/万福广场. Most of the major hotels are located in these areas such as The Sheraton Hotel, The Shangri-la Hotel, The Li River Waterfall Hotel and Guilin Bravo Hotel etc. For further distances, you need to hire a taxi to the appointed hotel which your tour guide will tell you the day before the trip.
- In Yangshuo town, the hotel collection and drop-off area should be within the urban area. For further distances, you need to hire a taxi to the Green Lotus Hotel (碧莲江景酒店).
