One-Day Li River Cruise with Bamboo Rafting in Yangshuo

About this activity
Around 8am, the guide will provide a pickup from the lobby of a centrally located hotel in Guilin. A short drive from there, catch the upstream Li River cruise. This morning, upstream excursion is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Li River valleys. During the cruise, disembark at a small village and visit a local family to experience their lifestyle and culture. Afterwards, board the cruise again and continue to Yangshuo, a small town that has exploded into a famous tourism spot where visitors come to enjoy the karst scenery as well as biking and rock climbing.
A buffet lunch will be served on the cruise. Upon arrival at Yangshuo, the guide will lead the way on a walk along West Street. This is a narrow S-shaped street running through the part of town mainly occupied by Westerners nowadays, hence its name. Even though the street itself has over 1,400 years of history, West Street is actually very modern and trendy, with nearly every shop providing bilingual store signs and more than 20 shops are owned and operated by Westerners who have settled here. Make a quick stop at the 'world’s biggest market' to pick up some souvenirs.
After a visit to West Street, it is time for bamboo rafting. Begin by rowing on the Yulong River, through limestone mountains and streams for around 45 minutes. Enjoy stunning scenery and witness the rural lifestyle on a raft in the traditional manner — with a gondolier who steers over the breakwaters, passing many small villages along the way.
At the end of this tour, enjoy the complimentary return trip to a hotel in Guilin.
