Itinerary

2pm-3:20pm To experience this amazing spectacle, you will be collected from your Guilin hotel at 2pm and driven to Yangshuo.

3:20pm-5:00pm Spend an afternoon exploring the verdant countryside of Yangshuo by bicycle or by walk.

5:00pm-6:30pm You will continue to visit Yangshuo’s famous West Street, which is the oldest street in Yangshuo dating back almost 1,500 years and winding for over 0.31 miles (0.5 kilometer). There are many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars to enjoy on West Street making it a popular location for all visitors to the town. You will have free time to stroll on the west street and to sample your favorite food.

6:40pm-9pm You will be transferred to the light show venue. The show commences at 7:40pm and your guide will ensure you are there on time.

9pm-10:30pm At the end of the performance, around 9pm, you will be transferred back to your Guilin hotel and arriving in approximately one and a half hours.

The Impression Sister Liu (Liusanjie) Light Show

In 1961, the film "Sanjie Liu" premiered. Sanjie Liu is a mythical fairy in Zhuang ethnic legend. She is said to have a beautiful singing voice. The release of the film brought worldwide fame to the Li River and the surrounding countryside.

The Impression Sister Liu (Liusanjie) Light Show was first performed in 2004 that paints a picture of the daily life of the people living around the Li River. The venue for the show is the waters of the Li River and several of the natural islands of the river. The whole set is in the open air surrounded by twelve hills and open to the night sky.

This spectacular show has seven parts, The Legend of Hills and Rivers, Red Impression, Green Impression, Golden Impression, Blue Impression, Silvery Impression and finally the Epilogue. All the performers, over 600 of them, are local people of the Li River region.
