About this activity
Day 1:

We will pick you up at your hotel in Guwahati by 7 AM and leave for Cherrapungee (approx. 5 hours). En-route visit the Mawsmai Caves and the Khasi Monoliths. The Mawsmai Caves are part of the longest cave system in India. The Khasi Monoliths are of pre-historic origin and find similarity with those found in France and other parts of Europe. Reach Cherrapungee around 6 PM for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:

Leave your hotel after breakfast for the Living Root Bridges. These natural double-decker bridges are unique sights to behold. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots intermingled to form a bridge that can hold good number of people at the same time. Some of the root bridges are over 100 feet long and incredibly strong and can take 10 to 15 years to grow fully. Return to the hotel in Cherrapunjee for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3:

Leave your hotel early morning after breakfast for Kaziranga National Park. On the way visit Thangkharang Park that is home to a large number of rare and exotic orchids. From high elevations en-route have a panoramic view of the plains of Bangladesh. Check-in at your hotel in Kaziranga and enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4:

After breakfast take an exhilarating jeep safari in the Kaziranga National Park. Return to your hotel for lunch and get some rest. The park is home to two-thirds of the

one-horned rhinoceroses in the world. Kaziranga National Park also boasts of the highest density of tigers in India. Located on the edge of the Eastern Himalaya biodiversity hot-spot, the park combines high species diversity and visibility. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5:

After breakfast leave for a tea garden. See the plucking and processing of tea leaves. Enjoy a special lunch in the tea garden. Return to Guwahati and check in to the hotel in Guwahati. In the evening, stroll through the colourful bazaars of Guwahati. Dinner at a hotel overlooking the mighty River Brahamputra. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6:

After breakfast take a cruise on River Brahmaputra. Return to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon visit the Kamakhya Devi Mandir

situated on a hill and Shankar Mahadev Mandir. In the evening see a Bollywood film in a theatre. After the tour is concluded, we will take you to your hotel Guwahati.
