About this activity
During this unique, two-hour cruise and dining experience, guests will travel through the Halifax harbour and along the scenic Northwest Arm to enjoy the sights, and flavours that best represent the city. You will travel aboard the Harbour Queen I, a Mississippi-style paddlewheeler reminiscent of the early 19th century, which is unique to our city. On board guides will share a brief history of Halifax including stories of the Halifax Explosion and the origins of Point Pleasant Park, while you pass by notable landmarks including the Dingle Tower, the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron, Georges Island and more. A highlight of the evening will undoubtedly be the 5-course meal which is created by our Executive Chef and team. House Nova Scotian wine is available by the glass, or you may order bottles from our extensive wine list. Consider making your dining experience a truly Maritime one by adding a steamed Nova Scotian lobster to your meal by informing booking agent at the time of ticket purchase. We look forward to welcoming you aboard.

The staff were very kind and the food exceptional. The staff were very attentive and willing to answer questions. The commentary at the end of the cruise taught us a lot about Halifax and gave you excellent vantage points of attractions that you do not get on the boardwalk.

First off we enjoyed this beautiful dinner cruise. The commentary was great and hearing the history of Halifax was interesting. In the advertisement it says there is live music, which there wasn’t on this night. It was a great night overall and my husband and I were more than pleased with the service. The food was great, but it was our understanding that the meal was a buffet with a variety of soups and salads. Neither my husband and I eat fish chowder or mussels so we missed out on both appetizers. We were hoping that there may have been more options or a better description of how the food would be served in the advertisement. The main course was delicious, as was the dessert. We would certainly recommend this cruise to friends and family, but suggest that the details in the description of the cruise be more accurate.

An excellent experience. The crew went that extra mile when they found out that my wife was GF. Do let them know if you have food allergies. The historic commentary was also interesting and entertaining
