The tour voucher said to meet outside the Hard Rock Cafe. We ultimately found the tour guide, but no one at the Hard Rock Cafe or general vicinity knew anything about the tour or where exactly to meet. While our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the exceedingly seedy red light district, the tour was given entirely in German. The guide explained to us that we had to make a special request in advance to have an English-speaking guide if we wanted to take the English-language tour, which is something that has never come up on any tour I've booked through viator before or since. He was kind enough to give us a couple of sentences in English after speaking German paragraphs to the rest of the tour group, but it would have been nice to have known we had to specify this request in advance.

This tour is in German. Did not go on it once the Guide informed us that it would be conducted in German.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. We only had one day in Hamburg and it was due to be the highlight of our trip. We met at the location indicated on the voucher, even arriving a few minutes early to make sure we were in the correct location. However, the guide NEVER showed up! After waiting around for almost 30 minutes we asked the doorman at the entrance of the Hard Rock Cafe if we were in the right location for this tour and he confirmed that we were, but advised us that there has been instances where the tour guide does not show up, which pretty much confirmed that we were definitely stood up. Needless to say, our night was ruined. I have been using Viator for years and have always had a fantastic experience, but I will be thinking twice before booking another tour with them.

VFM. The guide, although was little slow in english, he patiently answered all questions and explained things beautifully. Only bad thing is, the viator mentioned to meet the guide before 'Hard rock cafe', which was wrong and misleading. I almost missed the tour because of that.
