Itinerary
Join us at Bank Restaurant for a trip around the World of Wine.
In a fantastic private room we will start the day discovering How to Taste Wine like a Professional - learn how to do the swirling, sniffing and sipping properly!
We will then taste 5 more white wines in the morning - comparing wines from the likes of France, Italy, Chile, New Zealand - by lunchtime you will know your Chenin Blanc from your Sauvignon Blanc!
We will then enjoy 3 glasses of wine with Lunch - A wine to match each course.
The afternoon continues with 6 red wines from around the world - the likes of Rioja, Argentinian Malbec, Californian Cabernets are compared and contrasted.
As well as 15 wines you will:
Learn how to identify a Corked Wine
Find Out how to Order (and Send wine back) with confidence at a Restaurant or wine shop
Understand the fundamentals of Food & Wine Matching
Discover why Decanting a red wine is better than just letting it breathe
Learn about Serving temperatures, storage and much much more
Above all else our days are designed to be Fun, you will learn a lot but will also have a great day out
