Next stop is Meijiawu Tea Village: Dragon Well Tea, also known as Longjing tea, it is produced mostly by hand and has been renowned for its high quality, good taste. Meijiawu Tea village boasts the most important Dragon tea production basis. Then move on to Bamboo Lined Path at Yunqi. It really makes you realize how insignificant you are when you stand next to the bamboo trees towering way above you. You are surprised at how hard the bamboo actually was - no wonder Asian builders use it as scaffolding! The thing really liked about the bamboo forest is the light - even though the forest was dense. It gives the forest a totally different vibe, hard to explain but it was just fascinating.

In the afternoon, continue your tour to Former Residence of Hu Xueyan. Huxueyan is most notable for being the only person of the merchant class in the Qing dynasty to be awarded a red-topped hat, a rank indicating an officer of second grade by the Qing imperial court. The former residence of Hu xuanyan is typical Chinese style, elements of western-style architectures are also added in the buildings of the residence, which gained Hu’s former residence a reputation as a “marvelous combination of both Chinese and Western architecture”, which make the residence is exquisite and unique.

The last stop is City God Pavilion (Chenghuang Pavilion). City God pavilion is the landmark of Grand View of Wu Hill. The central roof of the town god pavilion looks like a bottle gourd while the other 4 minor roofs around the chief roof look like phoenixes. The whole pavilion seems like a group of soaring phoenixes. Now, City God Pavilion is an optimum spot for people to get a bird eye view of Hangzhou. It is an important part of the West Lake Resort and a showplace for the splendid history, culture and folk customs of Hangzhou.
