Day Trip Biking and Sailing on the Fuchun River from Hangzhou

Depart Hangzhou city and arrive in the district town of Qiantan roughly one and a half hours later. Set down, take a moment to rest, reorganize and stretch, then mount your newly rented bike to start this beautiful eco-tour.
No cars, no exhaust fumes, no roaring wheels and noise pollution – just glide roadside, with dense, lush trees to one side and the calming emerald ripples of Fuchun River waters on the other .Ride the morning away - get off any time to take pictures, or if you’d rather slow down and walk your way quietly along the banks, do so!
Along the river we’ll come across the “Little Three Fuchun Gorges” – a stretch with notable scenery along both sides of the river banks. Sights include the Yan Ling Ancient Terrace, Shuangta Lingyun (literally “Two Tall Towers Each Located on Either Side of the River”), Sandu Yucun (Sandu Fishermen Village), Qili Yangfan (the “7-mile Boating Line”), etc., each being named for its specific characteristics。
Approach the entrance to the Meizhou City Greenway at around eleven o’clock, dismount and leave the bikes behind. It’s time for us to head to a local home-style restaurant for a locally-grown lunch feast.
Well-fed, rested and satisfied, we move to the Sailing Center to get kitted-up for the afternoon everyone’s been waiting for! Five people to a boat, you’ll learn to steer and glide on the water with your crewmates, spending an afternoon of excitement on the beautiful waters of Fuchun. With gorgeous bankside scenery, fast-flowing water and high winds, you’re sure to find a wonderful combination of relaxation and thrill!
At the activity’s end we dock on the bank, pick up, and make tracks back to Hangzhou.
