Hangzhou Bike Tour

Pick up service is arranged at your hotel in Hangzhou downtown or the Hangzhou train station with a welcome sign.

Then take taxi to the bike rental site. Take a comfortable bike for your own use of 4 hours and start your bike day trip cycling around West Lake and exploring Longjing Tea Plantation.

Our bike tour guide will tell you many interesting stories, history and culture about Hangzhou on the way cycling around the lake. You will get to know about Bai Juyi, a Chinese poet of the Tang dynasty and governor in Hangzhou; Lin Bu, a poet of the Southern Song; Su Shi, a writer, poet, artist, calligrapher, and statesman of the Song Dynasty; Ms Su Xiaoxiao, a famous singsong girl and a poet in Hangzhou in Southern Qi Dynasty (479-502). You pass along Hubin, Bai Causeway and Su Causeway.

Along the Bai Causeway, you’ll pass two more famous lake landmarks: “Lingering Snow Over the Broken Bridge” is an arched bridge that gives the illusion of being broken after winter snowfall, and “Autumn Moon Over the Calm Lake” is an ancient, water-rimmed terrace. Rest your legs at this last scenic stop before riding to the Su Causeway.

Across the lake via Su Causeway. From this route you can see some of Hangzhou’s centre piece scenic attractions—including the islet named “Three Pools Mirroring the Moon,” and (when the bridge is bedecked with peach blossoms and weeping willows) “Dawn at Su Causeway in Spring.”

After the 3- 4 hours bicycle tour, you are returned to your hotel in Hangzhou or the Hangzhou Train Station and your Hangzhou bike tour ends.
