A day of adventure and exploration awaits in China’s Hangzhou. Begin the tour at the spectacular Peak Flown From Afar, a 209-metre high limestone peak, also known as Fei Lai Feng. Admire the several hundred intricate Buddhist stone carvings, some dating back over a thousand years, and hear about the many intriguing legends around its name.
Next, take in the impossibly lush green vistas of the Dragon Well tea plantation. Visit the picturesque village at the centre of it all and gaze out across awe-inspiring views whilst sipping invigorating Dragon Well green tea.
Enjoy a charming boat ride across the wonderful West Lake; admire the colourful fish and fascinating birds that call the lake home and take in the wonderful plant and tree life that grows in abundance here. Afterwards take a tranquil stroll around Golden Pond Garden, a relaxing experience that won’t be forgotten!
The final trip of the day will be a visit to the Six Harmonies Pagoda, which is said to have magical powers. First built in 960AD, choose to climb the narrow staircase to the pagoda’s summit or peruse the calming grounds that surround it.
