11-Day Northern Vietnam Honeymoon Experience from Hanoi

Day 1: Arrive to Hanoi (D)

Upon arrival to Noi Bai Airport, your driver will greet you with flowers and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, take a walk around Hanoi Old Quarter before enjoying a delicious welcome dinner for two.

Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B/L/D)

After breakfast, start your morning with a cyclo ride around Hanoi Old Quarter. Then, your guide will take you to visit the symbol of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Have a traditional lunch before taking tours of the Temple of Literature as well as the Ethnology Museum. In the evening before dinner, delight in a Water Puppet Show.

Day 3: Free day in Hanoi (B/D)

Have breakfast at your hotel, then spend the day together at your leisure. Enjoy your provided dinner later in the evening, then transfer to the Hanoi Railway Station for the night train from Hanoi to Lao Cai.

Day 4: Lao Cai - Sapa (B/L)

A driver will be waiting at the Lao Cai train station upon your arrival and transfer you to your Sapa hotel. Enjoy breakfast then take some time to relax before walking around the town of Sapa. In the afternoon, enjoy a short drive to Tram Ton Pass and on the way back to Sapa, you will stop to visit Thac Bac.

Day 5: Discover Sapa (B/L/D)

Enjoy breakfast before heading out to explore villages such as the Valley of Muong Hoa and the Y Linh Ho Village. The private guide will also lead you on an enchanting trek to Lao Chai, then to the village of Ta Van. Afterwards, have lunch and spend the rest of your day at your leisure before dinner.

Day 6: Ecolodge Resort (B/L/D)

Spend the morning at your leisure after having breakfast. After lunch time, drive to the Ecolodge Resort; a very romantic resort above the Muong Hoa Valley.

Day 7: Sapa – Lao Cai - Hanoi (B/L/D)

Relax in the morning before checking out and driving back to Sapa. In the evening, take the overnight train back to Hanoi on the two berth compartment.

Day 8: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Arrive at Hanoi station in the early morning where you will have a driver to meet you and take you to your hotel. Have breakfast, then take a 4-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Halong Bay.

Day 9: Discover Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Spend your day relaxing and enjoying your honeymoon on Halong Bay.

Day 10: Halong - Hanoi (B/L)

On the way back to Hanoi, visit Tho Ha, the famous village of terracotta products before 20th century. The rest of the day will be free to spend together at your own pace.

Spend the morning at your hotel until it is time for you to depart to the airport and fly home.
